A terrace garden for my Mom

Sometimes, the most satisfying dream is being able to fulfill someone else’s dream. We (and by ‘we’, I really mean ‘I’) get so wrapped up in working towards our own dreams that we forget that we actually have more power than we think we do to at least make someone else’s mini-dreams come true.
My mom has always wanted a terrace garden. When I was a child, the mention of this dream would come up at least once every couple of years. It was always a matter of space, you see. We’ve mostly lived an urban life and there was never any space in which to maintain a terrace garden. Now that my parents have finally moved to a small town, i see a possibility of that happening.
So one of my dreams that I hope to bring to fruition (that is when I get to go home for my next vacation) is- to coerce and help my mom into taking some time off for herself and build her very own terrace garden! Maybe we can start on a small scale at first and then get creative once our fingers get 'green'...i hope...
