The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...
I have wanted to make this entry for a couple months now. The fact that it has taken this long to get here (right now) just shows how busy life has become. Not making excuses, just the fact that there is so much on a day to day basis that requires our attention.
Anyway, a lot has transpired toward the fulfillment of our dream (my wife is my strongest advocate and without her never-ending commitment to helping keep me 'on track', I would never have gotten this much done!)
The most exciting news is that we have new video footage on the website.
If you'd like to take a look, just go to www.iammagic.net.
For 6 weeks during the summer, I volunteered my services for Clark County's Safekey afterschool program. Not long after that, we contacted our brother, Keith Alexander Parker (an awesome visionary artist - check out his work at www.visionaryattunements.com) He 'attuned' to the essence of my magic program and came up with the new cover for the M.A.G.I.C. Program Guide. More ideas will be implemented early next year.
With all the crazy weirdness of our country's economic upheaval, the summer turned into a really challenging time for us, and subsequently
we had to really work on our manifesting skills. It is so important to heed Winston Churchill's 7 word speech, "Never, never, never, never, never, give up!"
It really is amazing that as I write this it's December 7th, because I had hoped to have been doing the program in so many more locations by this time. But, and this is the important info I have to share, when your dream is so important that you literally give your life to bring it into reality, the time it takes to manifest it becomes secondary. I don't mean it's not important. You just stop worrying about how it's going to happen.
The best thing is to trust the universe, and know that everything is happening 'for you', not 'to you'... Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is an opportunity for growth. If someone or something shows up that seems to be taking away from your dream, we suggest you follow your instinct. Listen to your inner voice. Ask God, Goddess, All That Is for guidance. Go for a walk, a hike, a bike ride or to the park. Read something inspirational (Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Caroline Myss, Esther & Jerry Hicks, The Bible, The Keys of Enoch, The Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East. Sometimes situations in your reality will provoke you to change your dream, put it on hold or completely review/rewrite it all together. The most important thing we've found is to be true to yourself.
I have many more thoughts on this, and I will write more when the screen isn't so blurry (from catching up on so many e-mails and other such distractions!)
If I don't get back to this before the end of the month, we wish everyone a joyous holiday season, and a fantastic New Year!

I love what you said about NOT worrying about how long dreams take! That is one of my big challenges, because I have a tendency to set deadlines, and then get down on myself when it doesn't happen that fast. Your posting is very, very inspirational to me and gave me a great sense of peace as I read it.
Thank you for sharing these very profound and deeply TRUE words. I read your posting a few times. Thank you.
And congratulations on your latest step forward! 2010 is going to be a great year.
