My great dream is to create a Wellness Village

I envision a place of healing, a zen garden, a retreat. There will be many holistic services available, and it will be a place that you can go to for the day, or stay at for a period of time for a more complete healing experience.

The sort of services will include: naturopathic doctors, homeopathic doctors, massage, yoga, meditation, acupuncture ~ and all number of holistic healing modalities.
This is not a spa. It is a tranquil setting for complete healing.

It is a community of healers and teachers, who have come together to create the peace and serenity needed for total health rehabilitation - mind, body and spirit.

I plan to work there, providing services, of course. Once my education has been completed in the field of naturopathic & homeopathic health, I will be ready to make my contribution.

I have a very clear image of what it will look like. I have always felt affinity with Japanese structures and gardens. See the link below to the zen principles of the Japanese garden, and you will see what I hope to embody at my Wellness Village.

Beautiful.

Please keep all of us updated as you progress along your journey. Your dream is very, very inspiring and its something we can all learn from.

I feel a great sense of peace just reading about your plans. Your dream is so clear, I can imagine it already. You WILL make it a reality, I know it.

My family is from Japan, I have visited many times. Have you been there? The countryside is really special.

Thank you

Thank you Joseph Itaya. I am very grateful for your support and well wishes!

I have never been to Japan, although I lived for six years in South East Asia, and traveled throughout the region. So close... and yet, never quite there. I think it is something yet to be discovered for me.

I have a deep respect and reverence for Japan's traditions, I have read so much, studied healing practices, meditated in zen gardens.... there is nowhere I feel more peaceful.

I am sure I will get to see this countryside you speak of, and it will be my honor to invite you to the opening of my Wellness Village. It may be some years away, but - as you say - I WILL make it a reality!

Thank you very much for your belief in this dream!
