well when you get older (I'm 55 years old)and you haven't actually done anything in your life, then you dream of things that might have been. You come to realise the fact that all the IF'S,.... BUTS,.... SHOULD HAVE,... and ONLY'S are the barriers of your own demise. You have to go out there and start the wheels rolling to get where you want to be in life. Still, your older now and wiser but your life seems empty because you haven't filled it with the great things that accomplish success of seeing your dream come into fruition. However, not everyone lives to be as old as you are now (some people die as infants, some die at old age). So, it's never too late to do what you want to do.......................................

For me my dream at first seemed imposible. Never having worked at all (I got married when I was young and had 5 kids), I decided (4 years ago) that I wanted to do something meaningful. Against all odds I got into a local college (yes, I was the oldest there)and began studying for my A - levels. Being the eldest was a disadvantage, as the others didn't really warm to me, because they thought it wasn't worth me studying at all at my age. However, I carried on and passed all the exams(even though they called me grandma), and I got into a university (I still am at there). However, I got the same negative feedback - about my age, as I did when I was in college.
This still didn't phase me and I'm hopefully now going into my 3rd year.
The future seems scary but I haveto carry on - I know that god is giving me ust one more last chance - andI'm very grateful for it.
