Financial Independance

I work, a lot. My big dream is to be able to not have to worry about money. I'd like to be able to spend the time I have doing what I want to do, with my kids, with myself, with my friends, and not have to worry about getting up for a job.

Financial Independance

If you are REALLY committed to making a change in your life, then we suggest you read Robert Sheinfeld's book "Busting Loose from the Money Game". This may rock your world, but if you mean what you say in your dream, then this may be exactly what you are ready for. All the best!

I can relate

Of all the dreams in the world I would bet this one is shared by the most people. Joseph and I face this everyday. We have so many goals and dreams and projects we want to spend all our time doing (not to mention spending time with loved ones, traveling, and enjoying life) but we have to also face reality and make a living. Sometimes it feels the two paths work directly against each other and you have to choose one or the other. If anyone has a solution to this (besides winning the lotto or finding oil field in your backyard) I would love to hear it.

One bit of wisdom I can pass on was from my grandfather who told me that, regarding jobs, if you do what you love you'll never have to go to work again. The implication is that if you choose a job, career, etc that you love then it will never feel like work. It will be more like a hobby you get paid for.
