To direct my first feature film

This is a dream I've been working on in some way or another for 13 years. I've gone through 4 years of film school, worked for over 10 years in television, started my own production company, directed a multi-award winning short film, got represented by great people at the top a talent agency, all so I could get into a position where I could create films for a living that have a positive impact on people, their lives, and the world on a grand scale. To make films that inspire us and connect us to each other at a fundamental level. I've put a lot into this dream and I feel I'm really, really close. Closer than ever. But here I am, waiting, and waiting, still waiting for my opportunity for that first feature film that opens the doors to my dream. I sit at the edge of the precipice staring down into the life and the world I want to live in. Its almost within reach, but not quite. What do I need to give me that final shove to reach it? Tell me Universe, because I'm ready to jump in.

20 years to become an overnight success

This is beautiful my friend. It takes time, doesn't it? We hear so much about the "overnight success", but it really takes years and years and years to become an overnight success, doesn't it? To build the foundation and the skills and the relationships and then persist and persist and persist.....
When I look in my crystal ball, I see your career changing the face of filmmaking. Step by step, my brother. Step by step.

I'm glad we're in this together. And besides the wise ones say its about the journey, not the destination...right?
