to become a successful solo artist in the music industry
for as long as i can remember, music has been a part of my life. its been mostly classical up until about a year ago, when i found my voice AND my songwriting potential all at once. since then, ive been writing music, and hope one day to get signed by a record label and have my music exposed to the american public. (or whoever will buy the cd...)

Best of Luck!
Best of luck on making your dream come true! I also have the same dream as yours, but situations in my life hold me back for now (work, etc.). It's great to hear that you finally found your voice and the inspiration to write, sometimes all it takes is a bit of life experience. Well, all the best wishes for the journey that help your dreams become reality!
Welcome!
Thanks for pledging your dream on our site. From what Joseph tells me your already well on your way to achieving it. Good luck!

Its gonna happen, no doubt about it
I had a front row seat to watch this amazing kid with lots of talent (and attitude) blow me out of the water week after week in her piano lessons. You've always had the gift Madison, now you just need to hone in on what you WANT most, and work at it. And little by little, just you watch, it will become real. Hey, you already know one person in the music biz! There's somebody else you should connect with on this site. Look up Jamie Steele - he is a student and friend of mine here in LA and he's making it happen. He's singing and writing, and producing lots of amazing tracks. You should ask his advice, I bet he'll help you get a foot in!
And when do I get to hear some of your songs??????????????????
PS: I love Taylor Swift too.

aww well thanks. ill
aww well thanks. ill deffinately add him. and i dont know when im getting my music up and running yet. im working on getting some time with my buddy oliver in his studio, but hes busy a lot. but im working on some guitar stuff with him and doing all kinds of good stuff. i cant wait for you to hear some of it though. im getting more excited about it every day dude! like its getting to the point where i think i might BURST if i dont get some of it out in the open. but im workin on it. im also going through some of my old stuff, and to be honest im not feelin it like im feelin my new stuff. so i basically am back at square one. but id rather be there with a couple really awesome songs i love than have a setlist full of music that im not that into. my writing style keeps changing, so i keep writing stuff, and it gets consistantly better, which makes the old stuff look like CRAP. so ive got to learn how to NOT be a perfectionist basically. haha. and for the record, the "attitude" i used to have is pretty much non-existant now. just to give you heads up on that. =]
