Chris Neil

My name is Chris Neil, I live in Hamilton, Ontario Canada and I'm an amateur cyclist. I've been cycling now for 2 years, the spring of 2011 will be my 3rd. My team I'm on is Hamilton Cycling Club. 2011 will be the year in which I will be racing my heart out, trying to get my self noticed and eligable to move up a rank.

I was first inspired by Lance Armstrong. The first time I saw him race was 2004. Then again in 2009, his "comeback" year. After that, I hopped on my dad's bike and rode it 20km. I was so impressed by myself, that I saved enough for a road-bike I bought from a department store. $300.00 I beileve. And I road that bike everywhere. The following year, I managed to save up $1,000 and bought myself a Specialized Allez, which I still use today. And I rode that bike everywhere, plus!

Cycling is my favourite sport, and when I'm out there alone, I feel as if I'm the only one in the world. It's a great feeling, and I hope that one day, I can prove to the world, that I'm a Pro Cyclist.
