I'm a web developer using Open Source tools for most of my work. As a woman, it is hard for me not to notice that I'm a distinct minority in this field. The area I'm in claims a 14% + rate of women, but I'm a co-manager of a very large user-group that only has 1 woman to every 50+ men at every meetup. More >

Launching the website is just the first step. Having people use the website to pledge their dreams, begin to follow them, and update us on their progress is the second step. Having this community of dreamers begin to interact and encourage and support each other on their journey is the next step. But empowering people to actualize their dreams is the ultimate goal!
