I am a 67 year old woman who started learning to play the piano 2 years ago. my dream is to become an accomplished pianist and to keep the fun and enthusiasm i have for my journey as rich and adventurous as it is today. i want to play beautiful music that comes from inside of me and finds expression through nibble fingers. i want my mind to stay sharp and my heart open. some people might think that a person my age is beyond dreaming--but for me, dreaming has really just begun. I've always wanted to play on stage, whether behind the kit or behind the turn tables. I've never gotten the chance due to other "schedule conflicts".

To learn how to play the santour

My favorite instrument is the santour. I believe that it makes one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. It is my dream to learn how to play it and with it explore my soul and passions even further. I have taken the first step and I have bought one. I am making the plans of finding a teacher and making time to spent learning how to play it.

for as long as i can remember, music has been a part of my life. its been mostly classical up until about a year ago, when i found my voice AND my songwriting potential all at once. since then, ive been writing music, and hope one day to get signed by a record label and have my music exposed to the american public. (or whoever will buy the cd...)
