had coffee with a TV writer today

She is a friend of mine who is a successful TV writer. It was great because I wanted to get her insight as I venture into that field. She told me her whole story and how has worked for her. It great to talk to people really doing it because it makes the dream so much more tangible and attainable. She also is connecting me with some of her other TV writing friends. So all this if forward progress!

On a side note, I've spent the better part of today going through my virtual rolodex and emailing old contacts. I forgot how many great resources I have already. People like my writer friend and others who can really help me along the path to my dreams. I need to nourish these relationships and keep them active. It is very clear to me I can't attain my dreams alone.
