The great thing about co-writing is...

...when you get stuck you can pass it to your partner to take over. I took an edit pass at our TV pilot after I finished it last week and had zero perspective. We have to cut lots of pages and beef up the humor at the same time. I could do neither. So I sent it to Joseph who now is chopping and tweaking away with fresh eyes. In the meantime I can take my mind off it and focus on another script we are writing. When he is finished with his pass, I'll be ready to tackle it again to polish it up. It is a great system and it takes a lot of the pain out of the scripting process. I'm convinced dreamers who team with the right like-minded partners will attain their goals exponentially faster. I am all about the team.
