1st Journal Entry

This website has been a long, long time in the making. I don't know what to say.....its actually a reality. Praise God and thank you to all the people who have helped make this possible.

Rain Breaw, my friend and our chief designer, who believed in this project and has given so much of her time and talent. Rain, you are absolutely amazing and I can't begin to express my gratitude.

Charlene Sun, my friend and our first graphic designer, who was killed in a car accident in January of 2009. We dedicate this site to your memory, your spirit, your talent.

Shyam Balse, my partner. You've got more heart, talent, and guts than anybody I've ever met. You are going to change the face of cinema before you're through.

Chuck Schramm, my friend, mentor, and 1st investor in Whats Your Dream. Chuck passed away a year and a half ago from Pancreatic cancer, leaving behind a hole that can never be filled. The last time I ever spoke with Chuck, I told him all about WYD, and he expressed a great desire to help make it happen. On the day of his funeral, his wife gave me a check that became the 1st seed for this website. It would not be here without him.

Joe Itaya Sr, my Dad, the most generous person I know, who put a check in the mail the same afternoon I told him about this project.

Jordan Itaya, my brother, whose dream and dedication to becoming a cyclist was the first inspiration behind this project.

And last, but not least, my wife and best friend, Alana. You have been there through every step, every up, and every down. Your dreams inspire me more than you'll ever know.
