Georges Braque

Just something to ponder over..it is a beautiful quote by Georges Braque, the cubist painter, "Art disturbs while science reassures".
Beautiful isn't it? This is my take on it... Here is why we cant have Art without Science and Science without Art..if we do not have the Art (the soul) to disturb us, affect us, how else will we use science to reassure us and solve our problems? Without the restlessness of Art, there would be no momentum to drive the world. The converse is also true. We need to use Art to soothe and heal the destruction caused by Science. Does this make sense to anyone?

I should stop rambling and i hope i don't get into trouble for all these statements!!
